About Me

ArtisanGiftWrapping
Southern California, United States
It's safe to say I'm a crafty one - not the scheming, shrewd, conniving kind of crafty, the arts & crafts type! Gift wrapping has particulary enamoured me. Spending an hour on one (yes, you read that right!) gift is not foreign to me. Gift wrapping is an art and it's my belief that the presentation of a gift is as important as the gift itself. It shows you care and makes even a gift card seem more personal. I'm starting this blog as a reference tool for myself but I'd love it if you'd join me. Be careful when wielding a glue gun as you may get burned, I have! My background is varied, but was always arsty. I have worked as a showroom decorator for IKEA, a window dresser for several companies - and yes, it's fun to get paid to dress manniquins and play with props! I have dabbled in pottery and thanks to my awesome husband, I am the proud owner of my own wheel & kiln. I also do the obligatory scrapbooking and cardmaking, although I recently have adapted an affinity to digital scrapbooking versus the paper mess.
